Vinyl Harvest got started as a webshop and appointment-only shop in 2016 and opened in its current dedicated location in 2017. Its original focus on club music and listening electronica quickly broadened to include secondhand and new records from jazz to dub, afro, and fusion.
Vinyl Harvest organizes in-store DJ sets and live performances featuring local and international talent. Since 2022, the graffiti community Writer’s Bench 352 also has its home at Vinyl Harvest, as well as the mint.conception collective. The store is equipped with a recording station to record in-store concerts.
A recording of a 2021 in-store concert by Jan Jelinek and Arthur Clees will be released on mint.conception.records in January 2024. VH is also home to the Terre Rouge Records label and the nascent TRFFL CLB label.
